Once ago and far upon a long long time away
I dreamed about the life I’d grow to live
I pictured all the wicked souls who’d go and break my heart
I conjured up the one I would forgive

And in my mind, I always was the victim

But I was not cut out to be the damsel in distress

But it’s crazy how you land without a sound

Somehow I survived to see the day
