Radio Spot, CD Release, Barnstable Art in the Village

June certainly is flying by, but it's not going to be over until this lady sings a few more times!  On Sunday, I played after the session at O'Shea's Olde Inne in West Dennis. I was joined by Dan Wood, Doug Stetson, Seamus Hanrahan, and Steve Rose.  We had a great time.  On Monday, June 23, I was honored to be invited to sit in the WOMR studio with Bob Weiser, host of the Old Songs Home radio show, which airs every Monday morning from 9:30 - 12:30.  While I was there we discussed many topics, from Boston geography, to a little bit of history, to music & songwriting (naturally!).  I also played a few of my original tunes from the new CD on the acoustic Martin.  It was a lovely day for a drive to the tip of the Cape, and Bob proved to be excellent company.  All in all, a fine way to spend a Monday morning!

During the show, we of course discussed the upcoming cd release concert, taking place this Friday, June 27, from 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. at the Harwich Junior Theatre on Division Street in West Harwich.  The CDs have arrived and thanks to Amy Dykens photography and Moira Swiatkowski's design, I must say they are beautiful!  You may purchase them from me for $10, or visit cdbaby to sample the tunes, download tracks, or order the CD.  You may visit brownpapertickets to order tickets to the CD Release Concert, or come find me at Harvest Gallery Wine Bar in Dennis on Wednesday, June 25 where I will be hosting open mic.  I have a handful of tickets left to the show - $10 each. If you purchase a ticket to the show, you may purchase a CD for half price - hope to see you there!

And to wrap up the month, I was invited by Bert Jackson to play a set on the Barnstable Village Green on Saturday morning at 10:30 to celebrate Art in The Village.  So if you can't make it to the cd release party on Friday, consider swinging by the fair.  Bert cohosts the Feed Your Love Open Mic in Wellfleet each month.  You should check it out sometime!
